Someone got my password and was posting rude bulletins. When I changed my password, I decided to try it out and it didn't work. The problem is that when I got my password sent to my email, that didn't work, because the email that I use to log in with doesn't really exist. It's a hotmail account, and I've changed my hotmail address so many times. What can I do? Myspace is my main source of communication, not just with friends, but with family also. Please help, all answers welcome.

I went to the tech. support for myspace and that's what they told me to do, I already thought of that so don't try to make it seem like I'm a dumb ***, you asshole.

Ooooh no! You're in a tough spot now. I made an account with a fake email adress too and now I can't delete it. The only thing I know to tell you to do, is contact myspace customer support from a link somewhere on the site (you dont have to be logged in to do it) and tell them your situation. But it might be faster/quicker/easier to make a new account with a REAL email address. Myspace does not spam your email, it only sends you an email when someone sends you a message or a comment and I think you can even opt out of that in the preferences section. Good luck.

Oh and btw...those people get your password by phising. Basically you were on myspace and clicked on something and then all of a sudden the login screen pops up and you're thinking "But I'm already logged in?" but you sign in again anyway. That page is a fake page that records what you enter in...your email address and password. That's all they need to sign into your account and post bulletins that advertise for their websites instead.

It was doing the same thing to me.. I know its a pain.. but I would simply make another account n add all your friends to the new account is the best way to get around all that crap.. I changed my password as well.. someone told me the same thing.. it never went away.. I got tired of the embarrasment.. if you use it alot and know your way around myspace etc.. it will be a hassle but adding a new account and making a new profile is by far the easiest way! best of luck :)

contact myspace.com support OR create another myspace account and ask everyone you had added to delete the other account. you can try reactivating your hotmail email address and get the password thing only to change it.

it does that for all time reason there is like people accessible with myspace costs that dont use them like their meant to and it has like a good purchase of stuff on myspace and it cant carry a lot untill Tom deletes the former ones and purely cleans it out reason once a month he does this and then good even as he does myspace is swifter than ever!

why do people when they have a problem with a specific site, not go the the owners of that sITE and ask them for help?

Let me see, if I have a problem with ebay.com wouldn't I look for support on Ebay's website?

Or if Yahoo! was giving me problems, wouldn't I contact Yahoo! support for help?

So why didn't you bother to contact myspace.com with your problem?
