Restart the machine.

Try pressing the F8 key repeatedly during boot up until you get a screen which gives you the option for Safe Mode, Normal Mode (and in some versions of Windows) Last Known Good
If you have a Last Known Good, try that. If not, select Normal Mode.

Format and install Linux..... Ok really. Restarting the PC should work. If the PC keeps coming up in safemode. On the restart keep pushing F8 and you should get a boot menu. Select Boot windows normally. Cheers Mate
