For the longest time i have had confidence problems. Always second guessing myself, doubting my ability, stuff like that. How can I increase my self confidence?

Just act like you have confidence, no matter what. Try it even when you feel like you don't deserve it. Eventually your feelings will follow. Trust me, It'll be amazing.

That's a tough one. It's always a good self-confidence booster when you try something even though you doubt your own ability and you find out that you can do it (even if you don't do something as well as you think you should, proving that you can do it to yourself is always a good thing). You may also be able to boost your self-confidence by forcing yourself to go with your first guess -- that'll help you see that you CAN make the right decision the first time around. But the best piece of advice I can give you is try not to be so hard on yourself. Many people who have low self-confidence are their own worst enemies. You're human, so you're going to make mistakes, but if you beat yourself up every time you screw up you're telling yourself that you're no good. That's not true. You just goofed; that's all. When you make a mistake, just realize what you did, learn from it, and move on.

Here's a good visualization exercise: Think of a bunch of guys or girls going out to play any team sport -- soccer, basketball, football, lacrosse, whatever. Let's say your the goaltender on a soccer team and someone gets a ball by you. Is that the end of the game? No. Did you just cost your team the game? No. Anyone on your team who doesn't score carries just as much blame as you. If you watch sports you'll see that even the pros make mistakes. What keeps them going and keeps them on the list of champions is the fact that they don't give up and they don't let it completely rattle them, even if they don't play well for the whole game. You're going to have your off-days too, so don't let those destroy you either. Just get back up, dust yourself off, and don't lose faith in yourself.

Keep your chin up!

This can be a tricky one. However, there are things you can do to boost your confidence.
Surround yourself with positive energy and positive people.
Exercise, it really gives you a confidence I can't explain in words. Doing anything good for yourself will help you with confidence.
Reward yourself and do it often. Set small, obtainable goals throughout the day, or throughout the week.
Read self help books on the topic.
Make sure you are putting good food into your body. Too much sugar, too much caffeine, too many sweets of any kind can literally drain you and your body. When you don't feel well mentally, you don't feel well physical either.
YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
