You access a site that is blocked by going through a proxy server. It will let you access the site and not touch your filters. So search under google for a good proxy site

If they are appropriate sites that have been blocked by accident, then simply contact your network administator or whomever operates the blocking/filtering system; they will evaluate your need and unblock the site.

The main issue here is whether or not they agree with your definition of "appropriate".

Use a proxy! You can find a bunch of them in www.meetfind.com or (just in case that's blocked too) I would use www.yourstudyhelp.com (really sneaky proxy!)

go to http://www.freeproxy.info/en/free_proxy/cgi-proxy.htm
go to shadow browser a little down the page and it will open a new window. type in the address that you want to go to. You will be able to access the page that you want to that you were not able to before. Hope this helps.
