if it is a temp spare use it sparingly it is not able to withstand the heat generated from normal driving thats why there is a speed rating on it. also do not use it on the drve axle most of the time they are a smaller dia. than your other tires. If you have two diff. size tires on the drive axle you will cause problems with your diffential or drive train. because they are spinning the axels at different speeds get a new tire

Depends upon the spare. A full size spare in good condition can be kept on for quite a long time. The recommended max distance to drive on a "donut" spare is approx 50 miles.

if it is a donut spare, keep it under 50 mph and as soon as u can, if short on cash many tire shops offer used tires for around 25$$

If its a donut (smaller than a normal tire) then you can drive for 50 miles total. After you've driven 50 miles you need to replace it. Donuts are only so you can get to a place to fix your tire. You shouldnt drive on them more than needed.

the best idea is to get it to a shop asap. but I always thought that is was best to keep a full size tire as a spare that way you can take your time if you're short on cash to fix your tire.

There is a little paperback book that comes with information about your car. Owners handbook it is called please read it. Placing the space saver spair tire on the drive axle is different than on the rear of a front wheel drive car. But on the rear axle of a front wheel drive car you might be able to drive for weeks. I always replace tires in pairs so when you put the new tires in front you get best traction. And if the car has 40,000 miles on a set of tires replace all four tires.

you could drive on it for a while, but it is not recommended to keep driving on it. You should get it fixed ASAP. Also. dont get on the freeway with the spare.

you should get this off as soon as possible. This tire is not meant for long use it is only intended to get you to a service station. It also is smaller than your other tires and depending on the vehicle you have it on it could lead to other problems down the road. My advise to you is to get your other tire replaced and put it back onto your vehicle now.

If it's the tiny spare, it's only good for about 50 miles. Get it fixed, pronto
