Accident? I fell down a flight of basement stairs and landed on my chest - it knocked the wind out of me! My husband and Mom helped me stand up and sat me in a chair. I felt sick, so I told them I needed to go to the bathroom. I stood up and passed out - neither of them had a grip on me so I landed square on my chin from a standing up position - they told me my knees never bent! I regained consciousness in the ambulance. I had split my chin, and shoved my jawbone up into my ear! An interesting year followed with visits to various dental and ear specialists. It was very painful, I still have to wear a night guard because my jaw will never line up perfectly again without surgery - and - I have no memory whatsoever of that entire day. Needless to say, I always, always, always have a tight grip on railings when going down steps and the folks behind me can just be impatient - I'm not going to hurry!

I launched a car 30 feet into a large oak tree when my front wheel came off at 80 mph. The engine wound up in the passenger seat and I had to walk 5 miles to get help. It was out in the middle of nowhere. My knees were bleeding and badly cut up, my shoulders were dislocated, I had a huge gash on my forehead and my thumbs were both dislocated from the steering wheel.

I have also hit a semi head on at about 60 mph when he came into my lane. His grill ended up about a foot from my windshield. I survived it pretty well considering the damage to the vehicle. Only dislocated shoulders (again), banged up knees and severe whiplash.

I have had 14 bad accidents but these two were the worst. And yes, I do have a bullseye painted on my back. :-)

BTW: None of the accidents were my fault.

We were all thrown from a van that rolled 3 times coming to rest on its wheels, not side over side but end over end.
There were 7 of us 5 adults and 2 children. I was 8 and my baby brother was 7 weeks old. Neither he, I, nor our mom were hurt. I landed on my hands and knees about 10 feet from the side door and he was flung from his car seat out the back doors landed in the dirt wedged against the pavement (there was no shoulder) under a tire. We both got 1 scratch each so tiny it didn't even bleed. Three of the adults went to the hospital with nasty gashes and hurt backs but no life threatening injuries and my step father had braced himself and managed to stay in the van. Of course the baby was checked and x-rayed. Talk about someone watching over you.
Still to this day we are amazed at the non severity of any of the injuries. And I always wandered what the people who witnessed the accident must have thought to see a baby and a small child flying through the air. The horror and the dread they must have felt to see 2 small innocent lives coming to rest in the dirt and not knowing what the outcome was at that given moment. All because of a drunk driver.

when i was 3 i had the brilliant idea of jumping up and down with my legs tied together, so i ended up falling head first, but the worse part was that my head came crashing to the edge of a brick wall.

i ended up getting some stitches to keep my head together.

well I'm okay now!

I went headfirst over my ski tips and broke my upper arm near the shoulder in four places. The surgeons had to wrap the bone with wire to get it to hold together. I still can't move that shoulder very well.
