You will need to get a teaching certificate. This is usually something you train for at college, I think you need at least a 2-year associate degree, and you could try looking into community college.
However I urge you to get a proper 4-year bachelor's degree if you are going to be a teacher. There are way too many undereducated teachers these days. I am constantly amazed at some of the basic errors and thoughtless parrotry that comes out of today's classrooms from the teachers. We need smarter teachers, not teachers taking a shortcut just because they like kids. If you really care about kids, you will care about being a good, smart teacher so they can get a good education.

Depending on where you live you need a bachelor degree in education. Start at your local Community College (Cheap) and get an associates degree. If you can get good enough grades you can get a scholarship to finish for your 4 year degree.
Depending on your state you might be able to go to school for free with residency. If you do not make much money or have much money you might qualify for aid. Go to the colleges finiancial aid office and see.

I would suggest a place that give you emotional lobotomies.
Close by, I just heard on the news a child that was suspended because he wanted to give his teacher a hug. And I myself watched as my daughter's classmate (kindergarten) hug the teacher and the teacher had her arms open very wide as if the child had leprosy. I was going to be a teacher, everyone asks if I am. I'm great with kids and love them, but it broke and would break my heart to be heartless to kids. They want you to be a robot and just teach the information. I guess I'm too in touch with my inner child it ignore it, but be aware of all this before you go into teaching. I myself decided that it's not worth my soul.

I would suggest you make a documentary chronicling your outlandish efforts to become a teacher. I'd call it, "Nanthakumary K: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan."
