Who knows what they teach nowadays! When I had sex ed and health class in middle school and high school about a decade ago they taught a lot about the internal organs, menstruation, prostate cancer etc., STD's, and pregnancy cycle.

It depends entirely on the school. In many places conservative groups have forced most sex education to be eliminated from the curriculum. Programs that receive funding from the U.S. federal government are required to teach abstinence as the only way of preventing pregnancy and disease.

I remember seeing a film that was supposed to be about sex education, in seventh grade. Instead it showed:

When you get older, you grow hair all over your body, your skin gets oily, and you smell bad.

No wonder I never got married, eh?

Names of body parts, STIs, contraceptives, etc. Also, protective stuff like consent, it's your body, etc.
