Bill Clinton left his terms in office with a budget SURPLUS -
George W. Bush will leave office with a TRILLION-DOLLAR budget DEFICIT, which will take generations to pay off (if we ever can!). That, in itself, is reason enough to bring Clinton back as President.
Even after being impeached by an arrogant, jealous Republican led proceeding, Clinton's approval ratings were higher than George W. Bush could ever hope to achieve.
Bush is a war-monger, war profiteer, moron that doesn't give a damn about the American people - his only interest in is OIL, which is why he illegally invaded Iraq.
Bill Clinton is a well-educated diplomat who served the people of this country well, and looked out for America's interests - not the interests of Bush's oil company buddies, special interest groups, and wealthy elitists.
Yes, Clinton would get my vote in a heartbeat if he could run again....and I'm a Republican! -RKO-

He balanced the budget I believe 5 times
used the surplus to put new 100,000 cops on the street
and 50,000 new teachers in the classroom.
Left W witjh two surplusses ( a Presidents first budget result doesnt come until 21 mo.s after he takes office)
He reformed Welfare, passed the Brady bill
Transitioned the military from the Cold war to present day status
Increased spending on counter terrorism
The millenium plot was foiled on his watch
He was a Brilliant man
The 90's were unparalled for their peace and prosperity
Yea sure
and Nonalcoholic 2 is fudgin the numbers
The amount of money that the Govt borrowed and called revenue went from 9% to 0 in the 90sand some of the surplus was spent like on the cops and the defecit woul have started goin down
but W got in and the pork began to fly

No he is now a has-been, used up, less then popular.

I likes Clinton other than his sexcapde. He did good things for this country. I did not like the fact that he made the US look folish to other countries but he did not start a WAR with no end.
He can not run again. And people are desperately crying for a new face and new blood.

I don not want Hillary. She will take us down. She is too radical. If she could forgive her husband so thoroghly and hide her head in the sand while he was having his sexual freedom she would ruin our country. What does she have to offer? No one would take her serious. And this is a stone cold serious time in US History. We need strength and compassion in a President. No lies, no force, no kiss my but and I kiss yours. We need a President with convictions that is ready to work with the Powers of the World (UN).

President Clinton is done. His time is done. It is time for New Blood and a New Face.

No, he is totally untrustworthy. Perhaps the most corrupt president in our nations history. If you did your research you would understand this. You can thumbs down me if you'd like but it's the truth. What would you call a lier and a cheat and a "man" who ran to the USSR to escape the draft. He spent much of his presidency in bed with the Chinese communists while taking credit for an economy that was already self sufficient. No, the United States has had enough of Bubba Clinton. I only pray that his hideous "wife" never becomes president. If you think things are bad now just see what happens if that witch gets in office.

No he can't run again. No he wouldn't get my vote. Part of my reasoning is the lie about the budget surplus. If you steal from social security to add to the general fund there can be no surplus. IT WAS A LIE!

The government has been borrowing the Social Security surplus and spending it on general government programs for several years. The net effect has been to disguise the true size of budget deficits in past years. For example, in fiscal year 1995, the government experienced a $226.4 billion deficit in its operating budget. However, since the Social Security Trust Fund had a surplus of $62.4 billion that year, the government simply borrowed the Social Security surplus and spent it as part of it general operating budget. The $62.4 billion Social Security surplus was deducted from the $226.4 billion deficit and the government reported an official deficit of only $164 billion.
In 1997, since there was a surplus in the Social Security Trust Fund of $81.4 billion, the actual $103.4 billion on-budget deficit was reduced by that amount and the government reported a total deficit of only $22.0 billion. It was in 1998 that the American people first had the wool pulled over their eyes on a grand scale. In that year, the operating budget of the federal government was still in the red with an actual deficit of $30 billion. It was the $99.2 billion surplus in the Social Security Trust Fund that enabled the government to report a budget surplus of $69.2 billion. During a year in which the United States Government spent $30 billion more than it collected in general revenue, it announced that there was a $69.2 billion overall surplus!

From that point on, the American people seemed to believe that there truly was excess money in the federal budget, and cunning politicians began building schemes to further mislead the people into believing that money was available for new programs and/or for cutting taxes. Any reader who has doubts about whether the government had a deficit or surplus in 1998 need only check out the size of the national debt in 1997 and 1998. The United States Treasury Department maintains a web site on the internet that provides public debt figures updated on a daily basis.
The total debt at the end of 1997 was $5,369.7 billion ($5.37 trillion). By the end of 1998, the debt had risen to $5,478.7 billion ($5.48 trillion). How could the national debt rise by $109 billion if the government had a $69.2 billion surplus? It couldn’t. The United States Government had to borrow $30 billion to pay the on-budget deficit. In addition, since the Social Security Surplus was all invested in United States Treasury securities as required by law, the governments debt to the Social Security fund also went up.

I do not believe that he was in the top 5 best presidents. Right now by law he is not allowed to run again because of the 2 terms limit. I do not believe he would win an election. I do not know if I would vote for him or not, depending on who is running against him.

He certianly wouldn't get my vote....not then and not now. As for top 5 of the best presidents, Geez what are you looking at to reach that conclusion. But mine is only one vote.....so could he win? Yep I believe so....he's a known creep....rather than an unknown creep...no matter what drivle they speak about during a campaign Ya get what ya get because of the balance in congress. This goes for either side....Clinton doesn't have a monopoly here.

Lame question since he legally CANNOT ever be President again. And hell no, he would NOT get my vote. I prefer not to vote for lying, cheating, scumbags who let drug-dealers, terrorists, and pedophiles purchase pardons.

There is a HUGE difference between sin and SIN. Clinton is FAR on the SIN side, he is completely morally bankrupt.

I think he would. As much as the other parties hate to admit it, he did the best job of any President in recent past. I would definitely vote for him.
