Well, it would have helped if you had told us which model phone it is and which particular virus it has, you know?

Currently, viruses are a serious threat only to Symbian S60 R2 phones (i.e., not to phones running PalmOS or Windows Mobile - or even Symbian S60 R3 or higher), so I'll assume that you have one of those. (If, of course, your diagnosis is correct and the phone is indeed infected - after all, you didn't tell us what exactly the problem consists of; it could be caused by something other than a virus.)
