Just ordered a pair of these for my son. Are they good, safe etc

i am a kid and many of my friends had them wen we were a little bit younger but now we are teens and they are out of style...they are perfectly safe...and very fun!....good choice...

They are not safe, some stores won't even carry them. My granddaughter 10, wanted a pair, my daughter declined after she had heard of other children hurting themselves on the streets.

yea sure they are my daughter has a pair and shes 6 nearly 7 and she loves them the wheel is on the heel well I'm assuming they are the same as the ones your talking about

heeleys? ive just ordered a pair for my daughter they seem very expensive but as for safety i was in spain recently and saw kids as young as 4 flying round on them with no broken bones in site

My son has just bought some and has only worn them once, he turned 7 last week so is quite young......

They look quite safe but its just getting used to wearing them, he fell over and won't put them back on now.....

They will probably end up on the prohibited list like clackers and space dust. Banned within a year cos they are fun and kids love them.

Great if you can do it - lethal if you can't

only ever seen them once at an ice skating rink, the girl was having fun, it looked fun and it cant be any more unsafe that roller kates and i would say safer than roller blades.
Great advantage that they fit everyone though, my daughter grew out og her roller skates in 6 months when she was younger such a waste they were bearly worn in

they are called heelys. they are the shoes that look like trainers but have wheels in the bottom. Go on www.heelys.com and there is alot of choice

I dont know about safe, they come with a warning I think.

But they are called heeleys.
They are very popular this year.
