I don't care who or what you are touching anyone (joking or otherwise) is entering someone's personal domain & should NOT happen.
Not to mention very unsanitary!!!
And as my own Southern Mama & Daddy has always said,
"If you don't stand up for yourself no one else will."
Kelly being Kelly is naturally gonna gripe about it for a while.
But hey, Reg asked her & she told him so I feel she was justified
in speaking about it today.
Clay acts like a sissy anyway so it looked like two teenage girls bickering.
But he should have never touched her.
He's d@mn lucky it was Kelly cause I would have belted him one since he crossed the line first.

Today on 'Live with Regis & Kelly', Kelly Ripa spoke out about Clay Aiken's appearance on the Friday. She said, "I don't think it's right for anyone, whether it's meant as a joke or not, to put their hand on someone else's face or mouth". When Regis asked her how it was host with Clay, she said, "he's a Southern boy, and you'd expect them to have certain manners...". It didn't end there. She continued by adding that Clay had showed a huge lack of respect for her and she didn't care what his fans had to say about her. Howard Stern, no pillar of decorum, told her that Clay was out of line for his impropriety.
I guess Kelly Rippa wasn't "over it" and just like the rest of us who don't see things through rosed-colored glasses, America saw Clay for the rude, obnoxious, and self-absorbed person that he is. I do have a question for the Claymates- do you think Kelly Rippa read some of your vile comments that the publicist from New York and I e-mailed her? The only two ruining Clay's career are Clay Aiken and his Rabid Claymates.

She says Aiken was hostile toward her when they shared co-hosting duties on Friday's show.She especially took issue with Aiken putting his hands over her mouth during an interview. She says you don't do that, even if it's for a laugh.Regis Philbin says he's shocked the pair didn't hit it off, saying, "In my wildest dreams would I ever think that one day you would have a feud with Clay Aiken."

Yeah i heard on Regis and Kelly this morning. Clay put his hand over Kelly's face and mouth to shut her up. you can find the vid of it on youtube.com it is called clay aiken regis emmit.

It doesnt show much angry reaction from Kelly during the interview but apparently she was highly offended from her comments with Regis on air. It really wasn't that big of a thing to
slam Clay like she did.

Kelly kept asking the guests questions and Clay kept rudely interupting her saying that she wasn't letting him talk to the guests. He said it in jest but really, he wasn't kidding. He was out of line. Then he put his hand over Kelly's mouth and she pulled away from him and told him not to do that. I guess he won't be asked back to co-host.

Can any of you spell the name of the President of Iran without looking it up? Didn't think so. You know, he can and will affect your life alot more than Kelly Rippa could imagine.
