To my knowledge the color of the convert is a performance rating and not a brand marking. Do you have a blue converter? You may also have a Ford. A lot of the converters from ford a blue. But back to my first comment if the stall speed is below 3000 then the converters are black or blue. If they are above 3000 they are often red, orange, or green

only ones i know of are ford or remanufactured ac delco units
