yupchagee, you're statement makes no sense. More women than African Americans? How about white women? Are there more white women than African Americans? Is that what you meant to say? Because then I could turn around and say the number of all women is close to the number of all men, which would also counter your argument?

Please think your answers through. Thanks.

I'd probably say white female president. If you look in history white women got more rights before blacks did.

I don't know, but I think a black male would be more likely.

One reason I think this is because women who are strong enough to go through the guantlent to be considered for canidancy are still veiwed as b*tches, even by other women. Women would be more willing to vote for a strong black man than a "power hungry b*tch". I see this through Hillary Clinton, instead of saying "I don't like what she stands for" most people run her down personally. I don't like what she stands for, either, but I do respect her, at least she is taking a stand.

Which ever one makes it first, it will have to be a very strong person, who is not easily scared, because not only will they be dealing with the bigotry of this country, but also the entire world.

Most likely a female president. There seems to be more racial animosity in the US than sex animosity. However, it would partially depend on the candidate. I think Powell could have had a good chance at running for president. However I think he might have been concerned for the safety of his family if he would have ran. I'm sure if he would have won the presidency, a number of crazy racists would have made threats on him and his family. I think they did several years ago when both the Democrats and Republicans tried to recruit him to run for president or vice president under their tickets.

As the percentage of minorities increase in the US, I think there will be a greater chance that a black president or female president is elected.

Female!!! That's just my opinion. Why, because all the anti feminists and racists out there are more likely to elect a female than an African American.

A BLACK FEMALE LIKE CONDI.
SHE COULD GE THE MAJORITY OF THE MINORITY VOTE AND THEIR WILL BE A MAJORITY OF WOMEN VOTING FOR HER, THERE WILL BE A BUNCH OF REPUBLICANS VOTING FOR HER TOO, SO THAT COMBINATION MIGHT PUSH HER OVER THE TOP.
NOT TOO SURE ABOUT A BLACK MALE THAT WOULD SPLIT THE COUNTRY AND HE MIGHT NOT GET ENOUGH VOTES NOR WOULD A WHITE FEMALE. THE WHITE FEMALE WOULD SPLIT THE VOTES WHITE MEN WON'T WOTE FOR HER. FORGET ABOUT HILLARY.

Probably a female. Nobody likes or relates to that rascist Black Panther crap, and no doubt, if he was a democratic canidate, he would be affiliated with some liberal, radical organization.

Black male, they could get the Black vote, the Dem vote & the Repub vote, if he's Republican.

The majority of Republicans would not vote for a woman, black or white.

That's my opinion anyway.
