True friends are like diamonds, precious and rare.
False friends are like autumn, leaves found everywhere!
I have 5 friends that I know will be there till the end. I believe 2 of them are my soul mates. I have known 4 of them for 20 years plus, and the other 11 years. We have had our ups n downs, but true friends can work through the downs. Apart from my kids these 5 ppl are the most precious things I have in my life. I will always carry them in my heart, no matter what happens. They have helped me to stay alive in difficult times and for that I am forever grateful and I am truely a richer person for knowing them all!

I am not sure just how many of my friends I will have for a "life time" but I will keep my close friends close to me and the ones that are out to cause me harm even closer, so that way I will no what they are up too!

At one time I thought 2 but the wife is leaving, But my bestfriend and I have been friends for 21 years and we are only 30. We even survived my dating his sister many years ago so I think its a pretty safe bet that he and I will be friends for life.

In all honesty I would say that I have only about 4 friends that will be friends till the end. Many associates but people that I would consider as true friends and that will be around for remainder of my days is somewhat lower.

I'd say 12 at the most. A few of these, I met online. Another couple of these are in another state. I haven't seen them in a long time, but they are still in my heart.

Keep in mind "friend" or "lifetime friend". A friend will bail you out of jail, and a lifetime friend will be sitting next to you in jail. I have many of both.

1. friend 33 yrs
2. friend 15
3. friend 21
4. friend 37 yrs
5. friend 11yrs
all my friends are from my childhood days and one person I meant through a friend and became good friends .
