If your kids teachers are worth anything they give homework every night. However the homework needs to be meaning full and not just busy work. I teach math. Every night I try to give something that makes the kids reflect on what was learned that day. Even if it is -5- minutes worth of work, it helps a kid retain information. Certainly math requires constant work. I would also say foreign language should have daily vocabulary work at a minimum. Other classes should be as needed, but meaningful!

The three --R's.Even if you ask them they can tell you which they need help in.Teachers should be made to evaluate often to spot those that have problems & find help for them even if another student that could earn some credit in their efforts .We need more roundtable settings, so the students learn to get along with others & to have a subject picked by the teacher for them to discuss. I wish our teachers did not have so much redtape to do then they would have more time for the students

Kids should get homework in math and english every night in my opinion, they need the most practice in these subjects and practice makes perfect.... also homework in science, but not as frequently.
