Although that might seem like a kind gesture to have you mom see your kids. Now is certainly not the time to want to have children. Do you really know how expensive they care and how much work they can be? How much chlid care costs? have you considered that? wouldn't you want to give you kids the best start to their life as you possibly can? I'm sure you do...and now is NOT the time. first of all no matter ohw much in love with your boyfriend you think you are...i'm sorry to say it's prob. not going to last. second don't you want to go to college and experience that part of your life? going out meeting new people and not having to worry about kids is awesome and chances of you getting through college and bettering yourself are not very good when you have a child at 17. You'll most likely be in poverty and coming out of that can be very challenging. Go to college live your life and have fun dont' be thinking of having kids now. if you want to talk more about this email me at narnold30@hotmail.com
good luck

I wouldn't rush into this. Having a baby is a huge responsility...both finacially, emotionally and physically. Having a baby because your mom is ill is not the reason to have one. I'm sure she would feel the same way. Finish school, go to college then start a family.

kk think about this, (granted no-one ever is) but at 17 you are just now getting to your adult hood if you choose to get pregnant you will probably not finish high school, you will not be able to go out with your friends or even your boy friend anymore i was well out of high school when my wife had our 1st and it changed our life in ways you cannot decribe, we don't go out anymore at all. i go to work and come home every day, plus if your boyfriend isn't working who will support you while you are in the hospital and wor the 2 weeks you are at home after the baby is born? everybody wants their parents to see thier own kids but is the chance of her seeing yours worth the ruining of your own life? and yes i know she gave you alot but would you trash what she has given you (a decent life ,a chance to succeed) just for this? also talk to your mom about this (i mean REALLY talk about it)

If you're not sure how to go about it it's a sure sign you are too young.
As much as I'm sure your Mum would want to see your kids, she may not want to see you getting pregnant at 17 for her benefit.

If you want to give your mother something, give her your diploma. you don't want to give her a child because that's just going to put more stress on your ill mother. if your boyfriend is not working then who is going to help you with the baby, don't do it.
