It is extremely rare, but it can happen if the surgery was not done properly.

It depends of course what actual procedure they did for the ligation. For example, my tubes were cut, cauterized and tied. This makes sure that pregnancy will not happen if the tubes were to come untied. However, at one time I was thinking of getting pregnant again and went to a specialist. He told me of a procedure they do where they snip the end of the caterized tube, insert a smaller tube to connect the two ends. I did not have this done but suggest you might bring it up to your specialist. If your tubes were just tied, they can be untied. But a little more is involved if they have been cut or cauterized. But in answer to your question, yes, my friend got pregnant after a tubal ligation about three years afterwards. I hope this can help you a little.

You have to go to a fertility clinic. It costs around 10 grand and most of them do not accept insurance. They will place the egg in the uterus and fertilize it with the sperm. Also, sometimes crazy things happen like my friend who had her tubes tied almost 3 years ago---well she just had another baby. My other friend was born with only the right ovary and the left tube, but some how she had a baby a couple years ago. Explain that. If you cant afford the surgery then there is always a little hope if its meant to be.

I have a friend who had a unplanned pregnancy after a tubal, so there is a chance of pregnancy. If you want to get pregnant the can try to surgically reattach the tubes, or they can do an egg retrieval and IVF, but both of these are expensive and probably not covered by insurance.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.
