I realize that they are nothing like one another, character wise. But have you ever noticed the amazing degree of physical resemblance between the famous comic book writer and the heinous cult leader and murderer...? I mean, look on the back cover of Watchmen, and see Moore. Now, look at Manson's photos at the time of his arrest. Eerie, isn't it?

Please note, I don't intend to insult Alan Moore! That's why I began my question by mentioning that I knew they were totally different personalities. I'm very happy for him that he manages to sublimate his urges into creative channels.

I believe that is on purpose. I dont know if Moore did that consciously, but yeah. Both are withdrawn, disheveled, and have a rather bleak look at the world in general. Moore is fascinated with the past, notably Jack the Ripper, and finds porn artistic. Manson shares many of these views, only he goes far mre extreme in reality.

I think the same factors created the look for both, but Moore can express himsef without physically killign other people. But I guess that i snot much of a compliment.

Eerie indeed... and something I thought when i first saw a picture of Moore. Perhaps they are two sides of the same being... one good, one evil?

Well, intense, yes. But this question is a total dis-service to Moore.
