there is no real answer to life. life is not made up of answers to it. life has no direct key to open it. life is whatever you want it to be. when you figure out the meaning of life then you will have all of your keys to it.

Life does not come to us as a question that we need to find the answer of somewhere else. Life is the answer to all the questions we can ask. In fact, we ask question all the times. We ask at times by thinking and asking questions, and then at other times by just living our lives the way we think is the best. We live like questions whether we realise it or not. If then life is not a question but an answer then the answer to an answer can only be a question. And as there is none but us thinking and searching then we can be the only question to our lives, to which only a good live seem to be the answer.

What is the answer to life? Is this a proper question?
Is life asking the question?
Do you mean answer to living the way we do?
Thinking about ourselves all day long?
Filled with opinions and little else?
The answer is simple, live that way or don't!
As for life leave it be you know nothing of it.

That all depends. What is the question?
I think perhaps if you discover what you want to know, then the answer will be staring you in the face.
For most of us it is making the best of a bad lot. Enjoy what you can, when you can. Be kind to people and animals, etc, etc.
Others turn to religion.

Why must life have an answer?
We expect there to be an answer, a meaning. Why?

Our answer is found in the asking of questions that can not be answered.

The journey.

There is no single 'answer' in life. There has to be an answer to 'your' life. Therefore, one has to come to decisions about what the purpose of that life is and live it accordingly. It's like Jonas' 'star' (Camus) where he focused on one single idea or goal that made the core of his living. Everything centred around it in his work .... and only when he allowed other people to interfere in that did he lose his focus and therefore lost the answer to life.

we don't really know the scientific answer to this but my guess is:- to have plenty of sex, drink lots, fill the governments pockets full of money, have fun and just do anything you want. some people would say 42 but that could answer many questions like how old do you think i am, that does not need answering.
