I vote NTL the worst company in the world to have to deal with.
A company with just total contempt for it's customers.
What is your nomination?
Anyone agree with me?

I am 100% with you on the NTL thing I really hate that company.

I have spent so many hours on the phone trying to get various problems with my service sorted out only to be given unhelpful comments and be put on hold for ages.

Now they are charging me £4 a month for not paying them by Direct Debit, but when I did set up a direct debit with them last year they took £200 out of my bank that i did not owe them, it made other cheques I had written bounce and took a lot of my time to sort out.

The worst thing is that the building I live in is wired up to only use NTL so I'm stuck with them until I move.

Lol sorry for the rant there, when someone brings up NTL I can't help myself.

NTL are pretty bad, but they haven't really been in the game long enough to develop the perfectly dismissive, supercilious, overbearing demenour that the well practiced souls have who spend their days ungainfully employed behind the counters of Lloyds TSB. The Halifax Bank are similar in this, but as with all banks of today, you as the consumer tend to pick up the tab for their incompetence.

I'm with NTL and they are rubbish.I once had a row over £25 quid cos I was supposed to get free installation, anyway they wouldn't take the money I had paid off my bill.

normal companies would like to keep that customer, not NTL.

think its all comms services. agree with u about ntl but u obviously haven,t had to deal with the ramblings of a bt call centre. thats if u can understand them to begin with. then once thats sorted u need to take about an hour out of ur life (this is on average how long u will be kept on hold) but once thats be dealt with dont expect a swift response to ur problem. whatever happened 2 customer service?

MFI blows pretty hard but not sure they're as bad as NTL (whispers that last bit cos they supply our services!)

I'm still waiting for MFI to contact me about fixing the tap they fitted with our kitchen back in March!

BT for never giving a straight answer or even giving an answer, for taking money out of account you haven't authorized.
Lloydstsb insurance although lloyds say they are nothing to do with them but they sell the dame things and never pay out, give real lame excuses. Just both for being such crap!! that they could win awards for it.

I agree totally,I'm with Telewest, part of the same company as NLT and I've had nothing but problems with them, the people on the helplines are all lovely when your phoning to pay your bill but if you have a gripe then you might as well talk to yourself.
