Circumcision is the removal of the foreskin. If you want to have it done and you are a late adolescent or adult, it is your choice. Talk to a urologist or your physician about it. It is a brief procedure. Hygiene is easier. Your sex life may be enhanced by the activation of the nerve endings in the shaft (they are the base for the nerve ending in the foreskin). Some conditions such as a tight foreskin or infection of the glans because of the foreskin are prevented.

You have a right to discuss with the urologist the type of circumcision you want, e.g., high and tight (total removal of the foreskin), loose with a bit more foreskin left, and many more. You also should ask the doctor how many adult procedures he has done and what were the results.

I am very much procircumcision. I was circumcised as an infant and am very glad it was my parent's choice. I know a lot of men who have had it as adults. They all were very positive about it.

Go for it. It is your choice to make. You won't regret it.

The only difference would be the amount of skin removed. The only possibility of being two different types is whether it is done in a Dr office or in the a tribal way. In other words professional or not.
I think that often to much skin is taken and it causes the head of the penis to be to exposed and it becomes stimulated just in daily movement. I'm a woman (of course) and have observed the difference in my sons. It first son always was having erections as a little guy from his clothing rubbing. the second son not so as I told the DR not to take as much skin off. He had no problem with constant erections

OOps to much info.

Circumcision means removal of some of the foreskin. I suspect there are many different methods of doing this.

The two types of circumcision are rtiual (religious) and non-religious. Both are barbaric and should be discouraged vigorously. They are an attempt to make men less "sex crazy" and specifically to prevent masturbation by making it less pleasant. Boys found ways to wack off anyway, even if it was somewhat less enjoyable, so then the sex-haters thought up a bunch of untrue stuff about foreskins being dirty, smelly, etc to justify the practice.

Yes, The doc can cut the skin off or they can place a "bell" on it and the ring will slowly remove the skin.
