Well, I guess it time I tell about the first time I met Santa, it a long story though.
It all started on this dark and lonely road, oh, about 10 years ago. There was snow a foot deep that year. I remember it well. It was about 1:00 a.m. on Christmas morn. There was a full moon that night (never did figure out who that woman was mooning people at one in the morning). Anyway, there was this wild commotion comming from the woods. A lot of hollering and weird sounds like a horse or something. Oh! My God!!! It was Reindeer and they were headed straight for me!!! There was this chubby old man with a white beard and wearing a red suit, doing his best to stay in the sleigh and hold on to the reins. He was hollering something about Donner/Blitzen somebody (sounded like a cuss word). I tried to move to the left when I tripped over another chubby dude with a beard, he wasn't over four feet tall. It must of really scared him. He hollered something like "She Hit" and took off running through the woods. When I turned around from watching him there it was................tha' biggest pair of "horns" I ever did see (never did figure out who that topless woman was either). The Reindeer were upon me and all hope seemed lost. When out of nowhere something that looked like a big dog with this glowing red nose slammed into the side of the lead reindeer. The reindeer and sleigh went to the right and the old man went to the left, and I was standing there thinking, "what the she-hit"? Then this big red bag full of whatever hit me and knocked me to the ground. I was a little dizzy and I heard the old man groaning over in this briar patch. He kept saying something about a Ho! Just kept repeating it, Ho! Ho! Ho! I thought he was looking for his wife (maybe she had been driving at first). Finally he jumped up out of the briars and ran over to check the reindeer. Then he turned and looked at me. He was laughing; that's what the Ho! Ho! was, a laugh, I seen his smile in the moonlight. His eyes twinkled, his nose was red from the cold. He took off his white gloves and walked over and helped me up. He said, "you o.k. Sam?", he knew my name!!! Still a little shaken I said; "yea, how are the reindeer?" He told me they ran into this all the time taking the short cut through the woods, just, did not expect to see me in the way. That is when he introduced himself, said he was Santa. Tears came to my eyes, I was standing in front of the man many never believed exsisted. Santa was holding my hand and trying to get the red bag I was hiding behind me. That's when I learned to cook. He grabbed this Iron Skillet out of the bag and hit me on the head with it. He dropped the Skillet (My first gift from Santa)! Then he grabbed the red bag with both hands and ran, jumped in the sleigh and took off, turning up the road! So, every year I go down to that spot at 1 a.m. in the morning on Christmas Eve and rain, sleet or sunshine (at night)? There he comes barreling out of the woods, hollering something about Donner/Blitzen somebody. Then he hollers something about "get tha' bells outta' my way" He throws a toy at me, hits me in the head everytime, even when I duck. Man he has good aim, but, I always get a toy! Then he turns and disappears up the road! I write to him at the North Pole and thank him for my gift. He always writes back in some foriegn language, looks like #*F-ing^! %Idiot$& don't know what it says, but, I know he must love me! ;-D

No :( When I was in 3rd grade I was in a 3/4th grade mixed class and none of the older kids believed. One of the 4th graders came up to my friends and I and asked if we believe in Santa Clause. When I said yes they threw glitter in my hair and laughed at me. Of course, none of my friends said yes after that. So me and like, 10 other kids had to walk around with glitter in our hair for the rest of the day and everyone knew we still believed in Santa.
Obviously, I quit believe in Santa/his sprit after that. :(

I think Santa's spirit is still alive at Christmas and that is part of the magic of it. He has the power to light up little children's faces and that is truly a gift.

Absolutely! No doubt at all. In fact, I have proof that he is THE MAN, but I can't tell you what it is. Top secret stuff that I've been entrusted with. You just have to believe!

Yeah me too, I will never forget what I got in my 7th Christmas, a bending comb. Next morning I asked my mom and dad and it was not them and I thought again it must have been him, near my door there were footprints of a big boot of water.
