Me and my boyfriend have started having sex using the today sponge along with condoms... we switched thinking it would be more effective then just regular spermicide. But now I have been getting swolen "down there" and red after sex along with a yeast infection or two , what is wrong?

You need to keep yourself clean down there. a condom should suffice. I don't think you need the extra sponge.
