No they don't , they contribute to that über-classy hooker look (remember Pretty Woman?). It's best to avoid them with shorts, with the exception of long, tailored, knee-length shorts in a dressy fabric.

It depends on the heels and the shorts. Not all shoes will go with all shorts. It has to be the right blending of styles to look right.
Sporty shorts don't belong with heels.
Casual shorts should be mid thigh to knee length, and they tend to look better with a wedge than a stiletto or pump.
Dressy shorts should be knee length, and can be worn with most any dress shoe.
Gauchos look better with boots.
Capri's look better with sandals.

Women of taste and dignity do not wear high heels with shorts. Of course, it you want to tart it up, high heels will go with "nicer" shorts made of fine fabrics and people whose sexual preference tends towards females will be happy. However, it looks cheap, and the fashion statement that it makes is "I have low moral standards".
Please consider capri length pants if you must wear high heels with shorter slacks. This is a classy look that is also very becoming.

I dont think ALL high heels go with shorts! I think it really depends on the type and style of shorts your wearing and also the style of heels....

i've got self belief the comparable too. Being an engineer, i discover myself donning those cumbersome-guy form footwear to paintings. I wish there have been footwear with small heels and descent adequate to positioned directly to paintings (no longer those turn-flops, open toed, weird and wonderful straps etc).

Yes, they can go very well with many shorts, but like others have mentioned, there are some shorts that they'd just look stupid with.

They wouldn't go with sports type shorts either. Hope you're not planning on going to the gym with stillettos (sp)

um they go best with like forever 21 shorts...like the ones that arent denim but are like material...white is best
denim doesnt look best with heels, it just looks like weird and kinda trampy
