I asked at first a simple question. Wonder why someone would be cooking professionally on t.v. w/o a Chef's jacket. Then I am accused of being jealous. **Anoyomous (orginal logon name) NO I am not jealous...I have a husband that is a paid Chef, and do not have to work, plus I have two beautiful children. No I am not a cow..I am very petite and perfect weight for my size. I think someone taking photos of themselves cooking in underwear is disgusting, even if it's a photo shoot it looks tacky and gross.

I realize she is loved since every other show on Food Network is her's. But really ppl Chef's if they have a degree or not should wear jackets when they are cooking period. Her not wearing one was just silly looking. I am glad they won...Mario and Rachel cook very well I didn't disagree with that.

I guess it's because she isn't a classically trained chef, and doesn't call herself a "chef". What they wear doesn't really bother me, it's the hair hanging down that makes me sick. I get that they're just showing us recipes and stuff, but tie your hair back for goodness sakes. Anyone who cooks knows to get the hair out of the way and take of the bloody jewelry too.

I just watched Iron chef America and she said many times she bakes but she is NOT a chef. She basically is a good cook/baker but she is not a chef so I think she would be disrespecting chefs world wide if she wore the jacket as she never earned it. I do think she should put more on when she cooks however :)

Well R.R. is not an academically trained chef. Her 30 Minute Meals thing evolved from her work in the food promotion business.

True, a real chef should wear chef attire - but since a lot of her marketing is based on her personal appeal, I doubt she wants to cover up her shapeliness in chef's garb.

Personally, I wish she'd drop the smoking. I used to like her - but I can't stand her voice any longer.

Hmmmm.....I did not realize she did that, what's the link....personally, I am not a big fan of hers, but hey, she did make a good business decision, and her checkbook and savings prove that. Too bad that her hubby has a "Lesbians, please spit all over me!" fetish, and has her totally buffaloed.....oooohh......ya gots to feel bad for her there!
