what is the second function?

simple substition:

replace x with g(x)
so:

-5 (g(x)) + 7, then make sure that you substitute g(x) with it's own function. if g(x) = 2x, then it would obvioulsy be -10x + 7

Good luck!

Replace x with whatever is in the f() bracket. In this case, it's g(x), so...

f(g(x)) = -5g(x) + 7.
