I am talking about what we call Football (American) - Seems like guys are so preoccupied with who wins...dont you guys think its a little silly for over 20 people to fight over the same damn ball?....lol

men are confusing sometimes they will argue and fight over silly little things when it comes to football/soccer men love to just get stuck in and the physical presence and atmosphere of a football/soccer game is just a beackon for men personally i love football and soccer i play both and i cant get enough of it most men just like to get stuck in or in general just love it that is why most take it so personally.

I don't find it silly. I love it. There is more to the sport than just 22 guys fighting over a ball. There is so much strategy to it. I find it fasinating but then I have been watching football since I was a little girl. I know alot of women or girls dont like it because they dont understand it. The more you watch the more addicted you get. At least thats the case with me.... Its the only sport that I really like besides a little hockey. I love this time of year. Bring on the football.

Well, some guys (females too but I think more guys) place bets on football as well as other sports and they are all in the game because they have money on the line that they do not want to lose......If its not that then guys watch football because its a great past time, something like soap operas, its exciting for a couple hrs or so then its over....
Speaking of football, I'm going to make to a little wager myself..... :-D

Because it's a man thing, besides I don't think it's silly that 22 (not 20) fight over the damn ball as you put it. What I do find silly (more like stupid) is mobs of people fighting over a ******* PS3!!!

It's ok for you not to understand why we take pride in football. It's Pride. If I wanted to nit pick I'm sure I can point out plenty of things women take pride in that seem silly and irrelevent to Men in General.
So be ok with not understanding, as long as the guys aren't getting into fights and things like that no big deal.

Its not silly....football is great competition and involves lots of athletic skill.
Ya know whats silly? When ugly chicks spend tons of cash on makeup and still look ugly. Isnt that a little silly?

that's like asking why girls take looks so personally and cake all that makeup on....it looks silly to me.
guys are different than girls...period....you don't have to understand it. that's just the way it is.
i'm a girl, but i love football.....how my team does can make or break my day, and aug-february is my favorite time of year....and i dont at all find football ''silly''....

I used to feel that way. I started watching football with my husband and now I get into it as much as he does. I never would have thought it, but it is fun to watch once you understand the game.

Why do women take purses so seriously?
It doesn't make much logical sense but it is fun. You indetify with a certain team and have fun when that team wins.
