Chances are he now feels weird or like he would be encouraging you if he were to continue to act as you were before, because he is not interested in you in that way. If you can handle being friends with him and nothing more, call him and tell him that or leave a message stating something. Chances are you will get a call back from him at some point. But don't make the statement unless it is true. If you can't handle being just friends with him, just let things be. The other side of the coin is that he may be taking some time to figure out if he is interested in you that way, because until you said something he had never thought of you in that way, so leave things alone for a bit and see if he starts calling you again. Either way, you will probably get a chance to talk to him about it, but you won't get the chance right away. Give him some time and space.

This is a "hind sight" for you. If a guy is interested in you, then he will flirt with you and ask you out. If he wants to be friends with you, then he is friends with you.
Now you've made the poor guy uncomfortable. You're going to have act like nothing has happened. Just call as usual and it will soon blow over.
Good luck.

he may find things a little akward between the two of you now. guys are like that. maybe he doesnt want you to get the wrong idea and think that he likes you back. maybe he likes you and since you made the first move he doesnt know what to do. id talk to him if i were you. just ask him if you made him feel weird and if he doesnt want to go past friendship then thats fine. i mean you dont want to force him into liking you. you should do that if you still want to be his friend.

Wow... That's tough. Maybe you should leave him a message telling him you want to talk and see how he feels about what you told him. Also tell him you don't want to lose your friendship, even if it means never being more than friends. Best of luck!

may be he cant look at you the same now that you told him?

Just give him some time to process the information, he will come around, most men avoid problems like the plague and once he sees that you and him can remain friends, he will come around.

There's nothing you can do. He doesn't want to be more than friends, and since you do, he has to avoid you for fear you'd take his every word or gesture to "mean something".
