Manning, who pulled through and overpowered the league's best defense (Broncos -- points matter, not yards) but couldn't do that against the cowboys. LT who's biggest gains in Denver had been 75yds on the ground (averaging ~52), got 105 last night (avg 5.3 a carry!, his 3rd best in a game this season).

if LT doesn't win the MVP, there honestly has to be some sort of conspiracy.

(oh, and if you think we'd do good w/out LT, you're wrong. Sure, we are a great team, but we make lots of dumb mistakes. Our defense who was #1 against the run last year is just breaking down. Our offense has to bail us out 2nd half practically every game (we set a record for being the 1st team to win 4 games in a row where we gave up 24+points, that's not good). If we were disciplined we'd do decent w/o LT, but unfortunately we arn't. We have to rely on pure talent of individual players to pull us up from our mistakes.........................LT for MVP!

LT is sweet...but w/o Manning the Colts would be lucky to win 5 games in a very easy division.

Without LT, the Chargers could still maybe get into the playoffs because their defense is very good.

Either one as of today would be a good choice, but I would go with Manning because of what he does for the Colts vs. what LT does for the Chargers.

He is breaking Jim Brown's records, which in and of itself is amazing, but he's doing it in only his sixth year in the league. He is going to set a new single season TD record this year that may never be broken again. And he is the centerpiece of the leagues highest scoring offense (by 50 points over 2nd place). If the Chargers make the playoffs (and they look like a lock), Tomlinson is a shoe in for MVP this year, regardless of what Manning does for his team.

No doubt he is. Fastest player to 100 td's. No question. If he stays healthy record for td's in season is in jeopardy. He is the only player who in my opinion will come close enought to threating Jerry Rice's total touchdown record. Never thought anyone would be on pace to catch Rice but LT is close.
