Dont worry i got you covered.

When you see the desktop wallpaper hit CTRL + ALT + DEL

click on task manager

then file - new task

type in EXPLORER

You should get the start menue and everything back.

NOW YOUR NOT DONE

Start - Run - MSCONFIG

Click on the start up tab, and uncheck everything but your antivirus ( I.E. if you use Notron DONT remove anything with norton in it )

and restart and you should be fine.

Explorer.exe Isn't Loading For Some Reason...Sorry Don't Know Any Other Way To Fix This Than To Reinstall Windows...Or Maybe....Just Maybe....Boot Your Computer In Safe Mode Go Here >c:\WINDOWS\System 32\Explorer.exe And Delete Explorer.exe. Reboot And Windows Will Automatically Replace Explorer.exe When Windows Starts(If Windows Starts) I Say To Do This Cuz Explorer.exe Might Have Been Corrupted....

Are U running Windows XP? Try to reboot your computer, and press F8 every second or so until you get the Windows boot screen. Choose Safe Mode from the list. Once you get logged in, it should ask if you want to use System Restore. Say Yes, and restore your system state to a time before your issue started.

See if that helps!
