Im just gonna keep it simple, I read a series of books and the author had an acronym that I commly refer to. The acronym is KISS, which means keep it simple stupid. Now to the names, and im not sure if these names are registered trademarks or not. It will be your responsibility to determine whether or not they are.
1. SoftPro
2. ProSoft (switch)
3. SuperSoft
4. BestSoft (if you are a quality based competitor)
5. Soft4Less (if you are a price based competitor)
6. CQ Soft (cheap quality software, both)
Just add Inc. on the end of each name to get a feel of how it sounds. It's hard to come up with more than that based on the information given (ie. not knowing what type of software you plan on producing). Hope that helps get your creative mind going.
