What colours / themes do you use on your tree and around your house?
I stick to red / burgundy / gold ornaments with clear lights on the tree and around the house (a more traditional style).

I like the traditional deep green, Bright red and and deep blues with Gold and Silver. I tend to like the 'Dickens' look but that's hard to do since the decorations need to be hand crafted. But I use real garland, subtle, colorful lighting and as many hand made decorations that I can find which are tastefully done. Don't like that cheap look.

I have 2, 1 is gold bows with burgundy ornaments and the other is silver bows with blue ornaments.

We use multi colors. From lights to our decorations. It is hard for us to stick to 2 or 3 colors. We purchase new items to add to our collection every year and my family started doing this before I was born. I now have many of their decorations. I believe it is a good idea to decorate to remember all of your past Christmas.

I don't decorate. If it gets done it's because my kids harass my mom who feels that it's not in the Christmas spirit not to decorate so I say if you want it done you and the kids can do it. So whatever my mom decides my house should look like she'll do after she does her own.

well for me its whatever makes me feel festive LOL.last year i did red and gold,i think this year i might do blue and silver

My x-wife comes over and puts everything out everywhere.She loves that kind of stuff so I let her do it
