They about leveled out.

True, they lose $200 per system. But they make that up in game sales. If each persons who owns a PS3 owns 3-4 games they have evened out profit.

They lost several million dollars as it cost them 200$ every time somebody buys one. They cost nearly 800$ to make and are being sold for 500$.

Sony is actually in the red when it comes to that. It costs em over $200 to make the thing then what they sell it for.
