Well, look at it from his point of view. Maybe he's tired after work. He could have a physical job. Or a stressful one. That affects the labido. However, you can make a deal that if you want it, you take it, and if he wants it, he takes it.
I have a question. You say you have great sex with him, but not enough. BUT, does he have great sex with you? Are you a lame lay? Maybe you're the problem.

just talk to him and let him know what you want. Communication is the best thing. Maybe he thinks the same thing. Change things up a little bit.

- do it in a new place in your home (i.e. not in the bedroom)
- use honey or peanut butter or whipped cream
- use toys
- send him "naughty" txt messages while he is on his way home from work
