I don't know whether Kitty could go through Sue's force field. If she can't, Sue wins by default, just trap her in a bubble. If she is able to go through the force fields, Sue's in big trouble. Sue could fill the space around her with invisible force fields, so that Kitty wouldn't be able to solidify to attack her w/o harming herself. (I'm quite sure that Kitty can't selectively solidify one limb at a time, oslt.) But it would come down to a matter of timing, before they each were able to figure out each others' strengths and weaknesses.

Colossus vs. Thing is more difficult. Go to Marvel Directory and look up both of them, to see who is more powerful, strength wise. I'm inclined to say Ben Grimm will win. He is wiser, more mature and level headed. Even if Colossus is stronger, Ben still has a good shot. He could talk the kid down. I just don't see Piotr as being so enraged that he would be willing to keep on attacking someone who was in his weight class and didn't want to fight. Ben would offer to buy them a round of beers, like he did with the Sandman. He knows how to turn an enemy into a friend.

Kitty Pride does have much of an advantage in this scenario. For starters it's dark and there's a lot open space. As much we all love the Invisible Girl her only advantage is an invisbile foce field. Kitty phases into the force field and knocks her up for a loop. Just remember that she was trained by Wolverine. As for the men it doesn't matter The Thing wins only because he's stronger. Colossus only has a small advantage if the sun was out all day because he'd be too hot.

Sue Storm probably beats Kitty since she can become invisible at which point Kitty doesn't know where she is... And Shadowcat can't phase through her force fields.

Thing & Colossus- tough call. Colossus is a little stronger but Ben Grimm has heart- he never gives up, he's battled the Hulk so many times, Hercules, Namor, etc. The desert doesn't seem to give any real terrain advantage.... I guess in that environment, Colossus would eventually win, because there's no way for Ben to trick Colossus and outsmart him, just open space.

I assuming both these fights are to the death and they have to fight:

Kitty vs Sue: Kitty. I think alot of people forget the full range of Kitty's powers. She can phase parts of her body. She can phase something and let just let go. She can phase inside of force fields carrying a weapon, embede the weapon inside Sue then let go. There is no defense for that. It makes her very powerful against a non-flyer.

Thing Vs Colossus: A harder call. I would say they are so close to strength to be equal in power levels. I think Colossus is probably more re silent and over time would take Ben. He would, of course, have to beat Ben into the ground and be merciless. Ben would never stop trying but would lose.

Once more i'm inclinded to back up cdf-rom....

Kitty has a great chance of winning, especially in a dark city scape. This would actually work to her advantage since Sue's fields take up space and have desity like "real" objects. And at some point in comic history Kitty developed her powers to be able to selectivly solidify herself. (If she were to solidify a limb inside something or someone that limb and what she is phasing into are both riuned). So if Kitty can phase through the invisible shields (and locate the Invisible Woman) she wins.

As for Thing vs Colossus... well assuming they had no choice but to throw down... I give this one to Mr. Grimm. Aside from (what i percive) to a strength advantage in favor of Thing, he also has a "better" fighting style. Ben Grimm is much more of a brawler than Piotr Rasputin is. Colossus's fighting style is much more of a smashmouth, "hit-it-till-it-breaks" style. His "unique talent for hand-to-hand combat" (quoted straight from marvel.com) gives him an edge Piotr cannot overcome.

umm i would say sue storm cuz shes got the force field and she can turn invisable
while kitty can only go threw walls

umm most likely the thing cuz he's on the most strongest chart
at number two the hulk beat him tho

and if they were in a sandstorm how could colossus see the thing he's the color of sand lol so that would give him an advantage

Sue Storm and Colossus.

your terrain/environment and weather details rarely influence these questions/answers at all...
i doubt kitty could pass through sue's forcefields (and let me say i think sue is a highly underrated character... her power level could possibly rival that of magneto or higher if allowed)...

colossus vs thing? finally someone on here comes up with a match that requires me to actually think... power levels are comparable, so the edge has to lie elsewhere... ben grew up on the streets... he is a brawler... i give him the slight upper hand in hand-to-hand... but it would be a close one that i would love to see done by an impartial writer/artist team in a non X-Men/non FF comic title...

Kiity Pryde will smash the Invisible Girl. The blonde girl's force field will NOT save her from Kitty!
