How would you prove density is what drives air pressure? I need at least 2-4 sentences, Like what data i would need, etc. Thanks for the help! I need this ASAP

density= mass over volume= mass(which can be molecular mass) per unit volume. air pressure is a result of constant bombardment of air molecules. the more the density, the less mean free path the air molecules have, and the higher the frequency of the bombardment of air molecules, which leads to higher air pressure.(and vice versa)
