first he is to young for it all
go tot eh library and get an age appropriate book you two can sit down and go over ( look over the book with out him first )
then discus it..
sometimes YOU think he is asking one thing, but he is not, so keep all answers to a low keyed minimum, you can always add information, but you can not take it away ..if he did not mean that or need that amount of information...

good luck

I would suggest going to a book store and getting a book about it. It helps lighten the mood and break the tension caused by embarrassment. I just had this talk with my son last weekend. Good Luck!

A 7 year old shouldn't know what sex is. Wait a few years. Till he is like 10. Let him grow up and be a child.

I think 7 years is a bit young, you can start by telling him about his body changes first, how his voice is going to change and he will have hair on his body and these things, it is a bit early for sex talk, he won't understand you anyway, my daughter is 9 and we just started a bit of talking, let him enjoy his childhood, he still hates girls at this age, he will not understand it now.
