Nobody knows what happened. This will be the third day that it's been down. Hope it's back up soon.
ETA: The owner e-mailed some members and told them he is changing servers, it will be back soon.

Oh, good I'm not the only one. When I first got that message, I thought I was banned or something, then realized I couldn't get in on any of the computers I've got access to. Hopefully it'll be back up soon!

Jeez. I'll admit, i came to the site often too but just because the site is down it is not the end of the world for you guys. The people you were clicking on, it IS (was) the end for them. Be thankful that you even have the ability to breathe let alone sit in front of a computer. If you actually looked forward to coming to that site and seeing new deaths posted, you're morbid.
I hope that the site only makes you feel sadness and appreciation for what you have, and that you worded these posts all wrong. I'm going to assume the best here...

Oh thank God!! I thought it was just my computer! It's been down since I've been awake, so like 14 hours. I think it has something to do with bandwidth,or hosts, or something like that. Not too sure how websites work.
Hopefully, it will be back up soon. *crossing fingers*

Therez77, please post a link to confirm what you allege. There have been repeated threats of lawsuits against MDS, but I cannot find a legitimate report of one being filed, much less MDS being shut down because of legal action. I would be very interested to hear upon what legal grounds MDS has been taken offline.

mds got shut down due to a law suit, i saw it on cnn yesterday. not sure what the deal was only caught a few seconds of the story.

Someone said something about them changing servers, but I would think they would've informed the users ahead of time..... so I don't know!
