Wow I love this question and can't wait to see the other answers. I have a two year old and a six month old. When we brought the baby home from the hospital. Our toddler was so excited and wanted to hold and touch the baby's eyes or rather try and poke them out of the baby's head. My husband and I wondered how people are able to keep their youngest alive...LOL. My son is very loving with the baby most of the time but sometimes he will just walk up to the baby and kick him in the head for no reason at all. He has also stepped on his tummy, poked him in the eye. The worst thing happened the other day he tried to stick his finger down the baby's throat. This was the first time the baby actually cried but was totally fine. You really have to stay on your toes with your toddler when they are this age they are just too young to understand the consequences of their actions.

My oldest child used to scrach her brother s face up so bad, I had to explain to people that I could not leave her with the baby for a second other wise she would attak, now she is 5 and he is 3 and for the most part play nice with each oth, they are not perfect but it is much better.

I taught preschool for 8 years, one semester I had a boy who was a devil. He actually wrapped a jump rope around his new born baby brothers throat and was trying to walk him like a dog. When his mom caught him he said he was "playing with his brother". Mom was frightened to leave him alone with baby again, 5 year olds know better. This kid was awful! I was so glad when the year was over! oh, my kids are angels.
