If you start with sodium carbonate, the equation is:

Na2CO3 --> CO2(g) + Na2O

If you start with calcium carbonate, the equation would be:

CaCO3 --> CO3(g) + CaO

You'll produce carbon dioxide and the oxide of the metal.
