Everyone has been raving about how effective teething tablets are for their babies, but I have heard that some pediatricians say they cause dizziness and halucinations in babies?? Could this be? Just because they are all natural doesn't always mean good for the body. Are they approved by the FDA?

In the articles I've found regarding this, none of them are put out by either physicians or a medical journal. I would be calling this an urban legend. Or maybe an attempt to boost sales by the manufacturer hoping the same kids using cold medicine to get high from will switch to their teething tablets. (I'm only kidding...)

Teething tablets work for some kids and don't for others. They didn't work at all for my oldest, but teething wasn't a huge issue for her. Our middle child had hellish teething and those tablets were a godsend for her.

I've been using them for 8 years with 3 kids and never had any problems.

Typically, homeopathic treatments don't have side effects.
