Do people still buy on Ebay? It seems like 99% of the items on there have no bids.

I'll go there from time to time to get motorcycle parts...I guess that I'm satisfied with all that I have purchased....Daym you! You just made me get the urge to purchase....

Yes people are definitely still making purchases on Ebay, but a lot of people are now using the strategy of bidding in the very last minutes of the auction in order to try to win with the lowest possible bid.

Ebay is seasonal just like any other sales situation, there is a season for everything.
You find more people selling when more people are buying.
I however never bid on anything that involves paypal (personal check only) because it is too easy to hack into that system and get robbed blind and have your account screwed with. REALLY EASY! That really narrows down a lot of the vendors I would actually do business with by half!

only a few million people per day buy on ebay. Most bids happen towards the end of the auction

Sure. I just bought something last night.
The thing is you will a lot of times not see bids until the last few hours. Depends on the item.
eBay is alive and well.

I used to buy on EBAY but got burned once and quit. I have know several people who have gotten burned on large items. One friend lost 3,000.00 trying to buy a 4 wheeler. The FBI is even trying to find this person. Bad people ruining it for all the good people.

No of course not... Ebay SUX... In fact no one buys on there, and the website is shutting down...
In fact no one is really selling any items...
All the items on EBAY are fake and if you bidded on one you got fxed...
