Star Wars, no question about it. (as long as we are talking about the first 3 orginal movies, that is... not that I would choose Star Trek even over the newer Star Wars movies!)

And maybe you feel the same way, since you spelled Star Trek wrong? :)

Star Trek without a doubt. It is a better-written show (smarter) and lets you get better involved with the characters. You end up really knowing each of the characters, wanting to be a part of them, crying for them on Star Trek. I've never felt anything for a Star Wars character. Though Star Wars does have more of a fiction "vibe" than Star Trek, it is not smartly written like the latter is. Also, more technological ideas are currently coming from Star Trek, like the electronic books and the phasers. There's my take.

Star Wars.
Although I do like Star Trek I would much rather have Star Wars any day.
Any of the 6 will do. In fact Episode 3 is my absolute favorite followed by Episode 6.

Star Wars all the way!

Star Wars is better in a few ways mainly because Star Wars has something more to think abt. Most sci fi movie lovers might admit to love either one of these movies mainly because of its fan base, the characters or its story, some may even suggest because of its CGI effects. My main reasoning is because of its moral and philosphies. Especially ones that Yoda says in all the episodes, His words has definetly changed my outlook in life, the words he says are all Pearls of Wisdom, he speaks of life, of the living force which could surmise to be part of Gods life force power that grows inside all of us and binds this galaxy together. In real fact the Monks in the mountains do have these great telepathic powers and weild great martial arts excluding Light Sabers off course, but from the clothings, to the way they move and act they seem to resemble a Jedi knight. Off course those are the ones quite closer to God ( FORCE ) compared to others. Life itself is like having a personal war between Good and evil, Star Wars says this in a more delicate way by expressing it towards its main characters, who is based on a point of view in how one looks at things and takes the action. That just some of the moral philosophies one can learn from Star Wars, you might not find these much moral in Star Trek other than the saying to go beyond where no man has ever been to. Star Wars is more than just a mere Sci-Fi Movie, its a Teaching !

movies? star wars. but if you're comparing star wars movies to a star trek tv series, the next generation was really clever and well done. every episode was really smart and interesting. i always thought it was really impressive that a show that aired for so long always remained so high quality. so if that series is a choice, i'd say trek was better.
