I've been hearing a lot of people saying things like, "I'm a Leo with a astrological decendent of a Virgo." I'm not really into astrology, but I think it's interesting, and I have no clue what they are talking about. Do any of you? Also...if you do, do I have one? I'm a Libra born 10/12.

Thanks!

You probably mis-heard the word "ascendant" which is important in astrology.

Ascendant, or ascending sign, is the point of the zodiac that is on the eastern horizon at the time and place of your birth. To compute it correctly, I would need to know the exact place and time of your birth, not just the date.

The science of astronomy descended from astrology centuries ago. But if you are looking for a definition with regards to your question, make sure you are spelling DESCENDANT properly. Then Google or other search engine will give you the results you are looking for as with the link below.

Perhaps you should ask this in the "Astrology" or "Folklore & Mythology" section?
