Egg nog. But I really like Hot Buttered Rum best of all.

White on the tree, colored on the house.

As soon as I can manage after Thanksgiving.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I never believed in Santa.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Yes, all presents opened on Christmas Eve. 'Santa' leaves treats and small gifts in our stockings by the fireplace.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree?
A variety of the lovliest ornaments I can find, in rich colors and sparkly, and then a sprinkle of gold angel hair instead of tinsel to give it a shimmery glow that isn't gawdy.

It doesn't snow in Phoenix. We may drive up North to see it once in a while but I don't need it.

12. Can you ice skate?
Yes. Badly.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
The deep, warm red robe my husband picked out for me one year. I was flattered he remembered my favorite color and had picked out such a pretty robe without even any hints from me.

Black Forest Trifle. My specialty that I only make for Christmas: layers of chocolate sponge cake, cherry pie filling, and chocolote pudding, drizzled with Grand Marnier and topped with whipped cream.

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
Every evening this season I take the kids to walk around the neighborhood to see all the lights everyone puts up. It's really amazing.

17. What tops your tree?
A point that is round at the bottom and then ends in a spire. It's red with gold glittery lace decorations.

Giving. I have a hard time thinking of things I want for myself, but I love to buy presents for my loved ones.

Jingle Bells, traditional version.

Neutral. I like the fruit flavored ones okay but I much prefer other kinds of candy.

The structure is very cool... What you neglected to address, however, was the fundamental difference between environment. A wood floor's ambiguous and impersonal to the foot, sock or no sock. But who's going to wear socks in a bathroom? Who stays barefoot in bed? Who can eternally choose between two basic needs of the foot? This is a deep societal issue! You cannot generalize about such things! Your question is akin to comparing preferences between Dove and Hershey chocolate--IT CANNOT BE DONE! THIS IS BLASPHEMY!!! Come and ask this again when you have gained a sense of propriety concerning such matters. I command it. So let it be written. So let it be done.
