so i have a toshiba tecra a8 laptop that i got around sept. 8 this year. it is a notebook, not a tablet, but it had this feature down in that little thing on the very botton left that let you draw with your mouse in word. i deleted it, but now i want it back. i checked in the recylcing bin, and its not there. how can i get it back?

Try System Restore to a couple of days before you deleted the feature.

With a bit more information, we could probably help "Thing" is not helpful.

Either a toolbar is turned off (as mentioned above) or you've simply deleted a shortcut which was in your Quick Launch Toolbar. YOu can get this back by finding out what the program WAS and recreating the shortcut, or by running a system restore. (Caution: runnign a system restore means you may lose ANY files created, downloaded or placed on the hard drive since the last restore point. THis included drivers installed, letters, emails downloaded and programs installed.)

Is it a toolbar you are talking about? If it is so, go to view --> toolbar --> drawing. You will see it on the bottom of the word page.
