My brother and I would lay (or is it lie?) on the floor and build forts with our Lincoln Logs for our little green Army men and the tiny plastic farm animals. Then we would take the really heavy rag rug our great-grandma had made and throw it in the air. However it landed would create the mountains and valleys for our Matchbox cars. Hours of fun! Meanwhile, I can't seem to get my 3 and 5 year old to play in their rooms without destroying something. They can play for hours in the backyard when it's warmer out, though, and it brings back those childhood memories when mom didn't have to entertain us to have fun!
