a government that does not come in the night. reasonable democracy. where all people can be treated equal. that will never happen in any country as long as moderates pussyfoot around with the radicals. isn't it funny how 10% of the poulation dictate what happens to the other 90%. winning is not getting a trophy but ensuring that all people are treated fair and within the framework of a standing law. and futhermore, you did not pay for any of the rights and freedoms you have. that was paid for by the blood and sweat of patriots for and of this great country. for all the people who bad mouth this country i hate that my relatives died for you. but they did and your rhetoric should be qualified.

As it is now, there cannot be ANY win. Thats why the whole world was screaming at Bush not to invade.

That is also why the Bush team is desparately seeking a face saving exit from Iraq.

A win in Iraq would be a self governed democratic society. We need to stabilize that country because if we do not than Iran will go in and take over. If we lose Iraq there is no chance for the middle east to ever have a chance at peace.

We already won in Iraq. The stated goal was the removal of Saddam Hussein, the Baath government, and the capacity to generate wmd's.

Saddam is to be executed, the baath party is in exile, and the infrastructure for developing wmd's is destroyed by allied forces.

Now a new chapter emerges where we are helping a nation on people develop the political and physical infrastructure necessary to enjoy the freedom that is endowed by the creator to all men.
