It's too late this year for a food bank to donate to her family...if she's friends with you,why not invite her to dinner? And make sure she's on a list for Christmas holiday.
There's no law that says all Americans must eat turkey on Thanksgiving day. I've been down and out and was grateful just to put Food on my table.Didn't matter that it was bologna and chips, either. My closer friends brought me leftovers the next day, and then I really was thankful to have good friends in my life!

Mav would just buy one for her. Why don't you either invite them over, or get together with a few friends and do a Turkey Drop?

You get the entire dinner together, and two on Tuesday night, drop the box off with a note that says, "From those who love you." or a bible verse or something. Ring the doorbell and run like a mad man!!!!

Priceless gift of mankind is to do something without expecting anything in return - not even thanks!

The food banks usually put together Thanksgiving dinners for families without. She should go down there. They'll give her the works!

Good luck.
